FAQ
What is a Scrap Yard?
Scrap metal should be properly disposed of at a certified scrap yard where it can be recycled as opposed to a landfill where it does nothing except take up space. In different parts of the country, a scrap yard could also be referred to as a junkyard or breaker’s yard.
What are your hours?
Our hours of operation are Monday – Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, and Saturday 8:30am to 1:00pm.
What is the current price for a specific type of metal?
Prices per pound of specific metals vary with the metals market. For an up-to-the-minute price, call us at 561.689.0909. And remember that Palm Beach Metals is reputable, honest and has been in business for more than 50 years. If quoted price per pound from another scrap yard sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
