Aluminum

Aluminum is one of the few metals that can be recycled infinitely, and for this reason, more than 30 percent of all aluminum produced in the U.S. comes from recycled scrap and approximately 75 percent of all aluminum produced since the late 1800s is still in use today. In addition, aluminum recycling requires only 5 percent of the energy used to make new aluminum. Suitable sources for aluminum recycling include:

  • Cans
  • Extrusions
  • Screen Enclosures
  • Cast Window Frames
  • Old Sheet
  • Air Conditioner Coils
  • Transmissions (Fluid must be drained. Fluid pan must be removed or have a visible 6″ x 6″ hole.)
  • Lawn Chairs
  • Engine Blocks
  • Barbeque Grills Wheels
  • Pots and Pans
  • Hurricane Shutters
  • Aluminum Radiators
  • And More
